WebP Metadata Remover

What's in a WebP

WebP uses a RIFF container — the same chunk-based structure as AVI and WAV files. Metadata lives in named four-character chunks: EXIF, XMP (with a trailing space), and C2PA for AI content-credential manifests.

Why WebP is often overlooked

WebP is newer than JPEG and PNG, and some metadata tools built around older formats don't fully support it. AiEraser's scanner walks the RIFF chunk list directly, flagging EXIF, XMP, ICC profiles, and C2PA manifests the same way it does for JPEG and PNG.

What AiEraser does

View mode lists every chunk present, decodes any C2PA manifest found, and Remove mode re-encodes the image through canvas — losslessly for WebP's lossless mode, or at high quality for lossy WebP.

Try it now — drop a WebP in and see what's embedded.
